Supreme lightness

There is more affinity between "cosmic" and "comic" than the mere similarity of the words.
Angels fly because they take themselves lightly. And if this would be true of the angels, how more would it be for the lord of the angels.
In other words, the most serious being in the world would be the devil,
inflamed with hatred and malice against the cosmos,
whereas the most non-serious being would be supreme lightness = spirit.

Dante describes the song of the angels as the laughter of the universe.

Υπέρτατη ελαφρότητα

Υπάρχει μεγαλύτερη συνάφεια μεταξύ "κοσμικού" και "κωμικού", απ΄ ό,τι φανερώνει η απλή ομοιότητα των λέξεων.
Οι άγγελοι πετούν επειδή παίρνουν ελαφρά τον εαυτό τους. Και, αν κάτι τέτοιο θα ήταν αληθές για τους αγγέλους, πόσο περισσότερο θα ίσχυε για τον κύριο των αγγέλων.
Με άλλα λόγια, το πιο σοβαρό ον στον κόσμο θα ήταν ο διάβολος,
φλογισμένος από μίσος και έχθρα εναντίον της δημιουργίας,
ενώ το πιο μη-σοβαρό ον θα ήταν υπέρτατη ελαφρότητα = πνεύμα.

Ο Δάντης περιγράφει το τραγούδι των αγγέλων ως το γέλιο του σύμπαντος.
