  Staehelina uniflosculosa is a very interesting perennial plant of Greece, Albania, and the former Yugoslavia, that forms a small evergreen bush with wavy, glossy green leaves that are white to grey-green on the underside. Each white stem bears a cluster of separated small pink-violet flowers, which is not typical of flowers in the daisy family (Compositae). Blooms summer through early autumn.
Staehelina uniflosculosa is usually found growing on rocky slopes on high altitudes, and is one of the three Staehelina species that are native to Greece.

  Η Staehelina uniflosculosa είναι ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον πολυετές φυτό της Ελλάδας, της Αλβανίας και της πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβίας, το οποίο σχηματίζει μικρό αειθαλή θάμνο με κυματιστά γυαλιστερά πράσινα φύλλα, που είναι λευκά από την κάτω πλευρά. Κάθε λευκός βλαστός παράγει ένα σύμπλεγμα από διαχωρισμένα, μικρά ροζ-βιολετί λουλούδια, κάτι που δεν είναι συνηθισμένο για τα λουλούδια της οικογένειας της μαργαρίτας (Compositae). Ανθίζει τέλη καλοκαιριού μέ αρχές φθινοπώρου.
Η Staehelina uniflosculosa είναι φυτό των υψηλών βουνών, και ένα από τα τρία είδη του γένους Staehelina που απαντώνται στην Ελλάδα.
