Erodium malacoides or Mediterranean Stork's Bill (also Oval Stork's Bill), is another member of the geranium family that has been introduced to most continents. The oval cleft leaves are very soft and hairy, resembling the tenderness of common mallow leaves (Malva sylvestris) - the name malacoides comes from the Greek word "μαλακός" = soft. The small flowers are bright pink-lilac. A well known edible plant, it is said to be the source of a green dye.

Το Erodium malacoides είναι ένα ακόμη είδος γεράνειου, ενδημικού στη Μεσόγειο, το οποίο έχει εισαχθεί και εγκατασταθεί σε όλες σχεδόν τις ηπείρους. Τα σχιστά ωοειδή φύλλα του είναι μαλακά και χνουδωτά όπως της μολόχας (Malva sylvestris) - απ΄ όπου και το όνομα του φυτού (malacoides). Τα μικρά λουλούδια είναι έντονου ροζ-λιλά χρώματος. Είναι φυτό που τρώγεται, ενώ λέγεται πως αποτελεί και πηγή μιας πράσινης βαφής.
