The name turns out being Hypecoum procumbens, one of the four Hypecoum species found in Greece.

  Το φυτό με τα πολύ έντονα κιτρινο-πορτοκαλί άνθη, φυτρώνει συνήθως σε καλλιεργημένα χωράφια, συχνά χρωματίζοντας ολόκληρες περιοχές, και ανθίζει από πολύ νωρίς την Άνοιξη. Εμφανίζεται επίσης στην άμμο, πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα.

Hypecoum procumbens, ένα από τα τέσσερα είδη του γένους Hypecoum στην Ελλάδα, είναι το όνομα που αναζητούσαμε.

  Convolvulus arvensis, commonly known as Field Bindweed, is a small creeping and climbing vine widespread in Europe, W. Asia and the Mediterranean Region, and also found today almost on every continent. This hardy herbaceous perennial plant has dark green arrowhead-shaped leaves, and bears small, white or slightly tinged with a pink color (especially on the underside), trumpet-like flowers in the summer. As the name "arvensis" suggests, it is a plant of arable land, usually growing on fields and grass lawns .

  Ο Convolvulus arvensis είναι μια μικρή έρπουσα περικοκλάδα, ευρέως διαδεδομένη στην Ευρώπη, την δυτική Ασία και τη Μεσόγειο, και που σήμερα απαντάται σχεδόν σε όλες τις ηπείρους. Πρόκειται για ένα διακριτικό ανθεκτικό πολυετές φυτό με σκουροπράσινα φύλλα σε σχήμα βέλους, το οποίο παράγει μικρά, λευκά ή με ροζ αποχρώσεις (ιδιαίτερα στην από κάτω πλευρά), χωνάκια μέσα στο καλοκαίρι. Όπως δηλώνει το όνομα "arvensis", είναι φυτό των λιβαδιών και των καλλιεργημένων εκτάσεων, που συχνά φυτρώνει σε παρτέρια με γρασίδι.

  Fallopia convolvulus, formerly known as Polygonum convolvulus or Fagopyrum convolvulus, is another member of the genus Fallopia occurring in Greece, along with the often cultivated ornamental plant Fallopia baldschuanica. It is an annual vine native to Europe, Asia and northern Africa, usually found growing on arable land, especially corn fields. The small unobtrusive flowers are born on erect panicles, while the heart-shaped leaves are quite similar to those of Calystegia sepium and Tamus communis.

  Η Fallopia convolvulus, πρώην Polygonum convolvulus ή Fagopyrum convolvulus, είναι ένα ακόμη μέλος του γένους Fallopia που απαντάται στην Ελλάδα, εκτός από το συχνά καλλιεργούμενο διακοσμητικό φυτό Fallopia baldschuanica. Πρόκειται για ένα μονοετές αναρριχητικό φυτό ενδημικό της Ευρώπης, της Ασίας και της Β. Αφρικής, το οποίο φύεται σε καλλιεργημένα εδάφη και ιδαίτερα σε φυτείες καλαμποκιού. Τα μικρά αφανή άνθη σχηματίζουν μικρούς όρθιους βότρυες, ενώ τα καρδιόσχημα φύλλα παρουσιάζουν αρκετή ομοιότητα με εκείνα της Calystegia sepium και του Tamus communis.
