Orange-flowering field plant, Hypecoum procumbens.
The plant with the small, very bright yellow-orange flowers, grows mostly in cultivated fields, often coloring whole patches, and starts blooming from very early in spring. It is also found growing on the sand very close to the sea.

The name turns out being Hypecoum procumbens, one of the four Hypecoum species found in Greece.

Το φυτό με τα πολύ έντονα κιτρινο-πορτοκαλί άνθη, φυτρώνει συνήθως σε καλλιεργημένα χωράφια, συχνά χρωματίζοντας ολόκληρες περιοχές, και ανθίζει από πολύ νωρίς την Άνοιξη. Εμφανίζεται επίσης στην άμμο, πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα.
