The name turns out being Hypecoum procumbens, one of the four Hypecoum species found in Greece.

  Το φυτό με τα πολύ έντονα κιτρινο-πορτοκαλί άνθη, φυτρώνει συνήθως σε καλλιεργημένα χωράφια, συχνά χρωματίζοντας ολόκληρες περιοχές, και ανθίζει από πολύ νωρίς την Άνοιξη. Εμφανίζεται επίσης στην άμμο, πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα.

Hypecoum procumbens, ένα από τα τέσσερα είδη του γένους Hypecoum στην Ελλάδα, είναι το όνομα που αναζητούσαμε.

Unidentified Verbascum species (II)

  The Verbascum species presented here is a plant that was found growing on sandy soil close to the sea and together with Verbascum pinnatifidum. The multi-branched inflorescence grows to 1,20m high, while the leaves are lobed, grey-green, and have long petiols.

  Το είδος του βερμπάσκου που παρουσιάζεται εδώ βρέθηκε να φυτρώνει σε αμμώδες έδαφος κοντά στη θάλασσα, μαζί με το Verbascum pinnatifidum. Η πολυδιακλαδισμένη ταξιανθία του φτάνει στο 1,20μ ύψος, ενώ τα φύλλα του είναι λοβωτά, γκριπράσινα και με μακρείς μίσχους.
Κάθε ιδέα ή σχετική πληροφορία είναι ιδιαίτερα ευπρόσδεκτη.

Verbascum pinnatifidum.

   Verbascum pinnatifidum is a very unique perennial mullein species found on many of the sandy coasts of the Aegean Sea (Greece and W. Turkey) and up to the northern coasts of the Black Sea (Ukraine, Crimea). The small leaves are pinnately lobed, and the densely branched stems form small shrubs (approx. 30cm high) full of  cottony buds and yellow flowers in early summer.

  Το Verbascum pinnatifidum είναι ένα πολύ ξεχωριστό είδος βερμπάσκου που απαντάται σε αμμώδεις ακτές του Αιγαίου (Ελλάδα και Δ. Τουρκία) καθώς και στις βόρειες ακτές της Μαύρης Θάλασσας (Ουκρανία και Κριμαία). Τα φύλλα του είναι μικρά και πτερόσχημα, ενώ οι έντονα διακλαδισμένοι βλαστοί του σχηματίζουν μικρούς θάμνους (περίπου 30εκ. ύψος) γεμάτους με χνουδωτά μπουμπούκια και κίτρινα λουλούδια, στις αρχές του καλοκαιριού.
