Galium anisophyllon

Galium anisophyllon.


  Galium anisophyllon, also known as G. plebeium, is a very small prostrate perennial species of Europe, occurring at high altitudes. The beautiful white, four-petalled tiny flowers are often found blooming until late summer.
Galium is a large genus of over 600 known plant species, some of which are very common, like Galium aparine. In Greece one can find at least 79 species.

  Το Galium anisophyllon, γνωστό επίσης ως G. plebeium, είναι ένα πολύ μικρό πολυετές έρπον είδος της Ευρώπης, το οποίο απαντάται σε μεγάλα υψόμετρα. Τα όμορφα μικροσκοπικά λευκά λουλούδια ανθίζουν συχνά μέχρι τα τέλη καλοκαιριού.
Το γένος Galium αριθμεί πάνω από 600 είδη φυτών, μερικά από τα οποία είναι πολύ κοινά και διαδεδομένα όπως το Galium aparine. Στην Ελλάδα απαντώνται τουλάχιστον 79 είδη.
