Suaeda maritima, also known as Suaeda spicata and "common sea blite", is an annual herbaceous plant that is found growing in salt marshes and by the seashore. What is distinctive about this plant is its extensive horizontal branching right from the base, and its succulent leaves that have a circular cross-section. It also gives flowers that are very slightly apparent.
